Job summary

Sunflower Electric Power Corporation in Dodge City, KS is seeking an Operator Technician Mechanic I-IV to operate, maintain, and repair boilers, turbine-generators, combustion turbines, and other generation station equipment.

This role supports reliable energy delivery to Kansas residents and requires mechanical maintenance experience along with the ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two year post high school education in mechanical maintenance and two years heavy industrial mechanical maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient troubleshooting, repair, and resolution skills using sound mechanical aptitude, practices, methods, and procedures.
• Able to work overtime, both scheduled and/or unscheduled; respond to emergencies and work rotating shifts including holidays and weekends.
