Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, welding and cutting equipment.
• Mechanical abilities to maintain/repair power plant equipment and diagnose problems.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges, recorders and monitors.
• Ability to perform simple record-keeping tasks.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Installs, overhauls, repairs and maintains boilers and related systems.
• Prepares accurate records and ensures proper documentation.
• Troubleshoots issues and inspects equipment for defects.
• Operates boilers and related equipment within designed parameters.
• Adheres to safety rules and procedures.
• Trains other staff on procedures and safety.
