Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Plant Manager to direct all Operations and Maintenance at the plant, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and reliable operation. You will lead safety, QA/QC programs, manage outages, and supervise a team of plant personnel to meet client requirements and maintain high morale.

Responsibilities include training, policy reviews, hiring, certifications, and reporting to clients and utilities.

Qualifications

Education: BS in engineering from an accredited college or university.
Years of Experience: 10 years in power plant or similar operations; 3 years supervising personnel.
Preferred Experience: Gas turbine experience.

Other Considerations: Strong leadership and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

Direct the plant's Safety, Operations, NERC Compliance, Maintenance, Administrative, Training, Chemistry and Environmental QA/QC programs to assure safe, efficient operation.
Manage and oversee planned and unplanned plant outages.
Implement training and qualification programs to assure that plant procedures are understood and followed.
Direct the sourcing, screening and hiring of new or replacement personnel as needed.
Verify that certification status of affected personnel is maintained current.
Oversee preparation of client and utility reports, budgets, and environmental reports.
Ensure plant personnel alignment with client requirements.
Maintain morale and motivation of plant personnel.
