Job summary
Constellation in Texas seeks an Operations Manager to oversee safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant plant operations. You will evaluate performance and drive improvements to reliability and efficiency while leading the day-to-day operating team to meet generation schedules.
The role requires 8+ years in power plant operations, supervisory experience, and a background in engineering or related technical discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher in engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of power plant experience with supervisory exposure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in maintenance, engineering, or work management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct, plan and coordinate day-to-day operating personnel to meet generation schedules.
- Develop and manage the O&M budget and expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and environmental stewardship.
- Provide status reporting to support plant objectives.
- Oversee personnel development and performance management per policy.
- Participate in strategic and business planning initiatives.
- Support outage activities and cross-department duties as needed.
