Job summary

PSG Global Solutions is seeking a Power Plant Utility Worker / General Laborer to support daily plant operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, safety checks, and groundskeeping at our Moundsville, WV site. This hands-on role involves material handling, equipment inspection, tool inventory, spill cleanup, and assisting with daily plant needs.

You must be able to work 10-hour shifts on Saturdays through Tuesday and be willing to rotate shifts, overtime, and callouts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, and callouts.
• Physically capable of demanding outdoor work.
• Able to use basic hand tools after training.
• Read and follow written instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong safety focus and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping, cleaning, and spill cleanup throughout the plant.
• Support maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Inspect conveyors and grease belt lines; manage tool inventory.
• Conduct fire, safety, and environmental checks following procedures.
• Handle groundskeeping, snow/ice removal, painting and minor repairs.
• Assist with fuel truck unloading and material handling.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Power Plant Utility Worker / GeneralLaborer to support daily plant operations, housekeeping, maintenance, safety,and groundskeeping activities. This is a hands-on position involving industrialcleaning, material handling, equipment inspections, tool inventory, spillcleanup, and general plant maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Performsgeneral housekeeping, industrial cleaning, and spill cleanup throughoutthe power plant, including coal, gypsum, dust, and waste.
• Supportsplant maintenance and preventive maintenance, including conveyor/belt lineinspections and greasing.
• Managestool room inventory, tool check-in/out, and basic rigging checks.
• Performsroutine fire, safety, and environmental checks and follow all plant safetyprocedures.
• Handlesgroundskeeping, snow/ice removal, painting, light bulb replacement, andminor facility repairs.
• Assistswith fuel truck unloading, wet coal conditions, material handling, andother daily plant operational needs.

NOTE: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) to be considered for this position.

Job Type: Long-Term Contract (1+ Year)

Work Set Up: (Saturday–Tuesday: 10-hour shifts ,Wednesday–Friday: Days off)

• 4 daysper week / 40 hours per week
