Job summary

Responsibilities include writing technical specs, developing project scopes and budgets, and managing bids, vendor evaluations, and RFPs. The incumbent will ensure compliance with safety procedures, LOTO, and industry standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; minimum four years’ power-plant engineering experience.
• PMP certification preferred; valid driver’s license.
• Experience with project management and budgeting.
• Ability to write technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write technical specifications and scope for plant projects, maintain budgets, assist with RFPs and bid documents.
• Provide technical support for O&M; review plant data for safe and efficient generation.
• Supervise plant modifications, craft labor, and contractors during all project phases.
• Write and develop technical specifications for plant projects.
• Assist Purchasing with RFPs, bid documents, vendor evaluations and negotiations.
• Prepare justification of plant projects based on safety, environmental, technology, economic analysis, and efficiency.
