Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Safety Specialist to support and audit our safety programs in the field. You will report to the Project Safety Manager and help implement the Site Specific Safety Plan, ensuring compliance with OSHA/MSHA requirements and client expectations.

This entry-level role involves daily collaboration with craft and operations, with relocation opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Base compensation is $75,000 to $82,000 per year. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30, 500 and 510 certifications.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and communicating the Site Specific Safety Plan.
• Collaborate with craft daily to promote safety program buy-in.
• Perform hazard inspections and support corrective actions.
