Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with electrical hazards and safety procedures.
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species.
• Physical energy and coordination required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Obtains permission from property owners to trim or remove trees.
• Maintains customer relations and explains work to clients.
• Cooperates with police and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Safeguards employees and the public; sets up barriers and warnings.
• Operates and services bucket trucks, saws, chippers, and sprayers.
• Trains new personnel and ensures quality and safety.
• Performs tree trimming near energized lines and completes debris cleanup.
