Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Technician I to load/unload equipment, perform basic preventive maintenance, and carry out minor repairs to keep job sites running smoothly. You will apply knowledge of generators, power distribution, HVAC systems, and diesel pumps to support a fast-growing rental operation.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, continuous learning, and collaboration with a skilled team in a dynamic environment across residential and commercial sites.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with repairing and maintaining Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment and accessories.
• Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heater, HVAC, and diesel driven pumps; understands diesel equipment, electronics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment and performs basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensures safe handling and operation of pumps, power units, and related accessories.
• Assists with basic troubleshooting and routine servicing in field or shop environments.
