Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to support military operations by performing preventive maintenance on generation equipment and by replacing regulators, governors, or circuit cards as needed. You will learn to adjust frequencies and voltages to improve efficiency.

Through your training, you will gain skills applicable to civilian power-plant work while earning a regular paycheck and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical power generation systems and diesel generators.
• Willingness to participate in Army National Guard training programs.
• Ability to read technical publications for voltage/frequency adjustments.
