Peterson Cat has an immediate need for an experienced Power Generation Technician based at our Santa Rosa, CA location. This role focuses on repairing Marine Engines and Engine Power Generation equipment in the field to meet customer needs.

The position requires an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or closely related field and at least 5 years of directly related experience. Travel, overtime, and on-call work are required, with a strong emphasis on safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Diesel Technology or closely related field with at least 5 years of directly related experience in power generation or engine service.
• Experience in a heavy industrial environment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and be on call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to Marine Engines and Engine Power Generation equipment in the field.
• Maintain safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Travel to meet customer service requirements including overnight stays.
• Attend technical and safety training, conducted in person or online.
• Maintain company vehicle in clean, professional condition.
• Follow manufacturer and company service guidelines to ensure quality work.
