Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks an Engineering Intern for Power Generation in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. This full-time summer role starts May/June 2027 with an hourly rate of $23.10 and paid holidays.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting operation, maintenance, performance, and optimization of the Elm Road Generating Station under mentoring engineers, with real-world projects and cross-disciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or HSE.
• Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or other related Engineering majors with a graduation date after July 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
