SpaceXAI is building Colossus, the world’s largest AI supercomputer, in Memphis. We seek a Power Generation Engineer to ensure reliable operation and optimization of natural gas turbines and associated power systems powering our AI datacenter.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in power generation, strong turbine/controls expertise, and a track record of safety, efficiency, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams in high‑reliability environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to power generation.
5+ years of experience in power generation, natural gas plants, or turbines.
Strong understanding of turbine operations, control systems, and power distribution.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of natural gas turbines and related power generation equipment, ensuring safety and environmental standards.
Monitor and analyze power generation systems to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency for the AI datacenter.
Collaborate with electrical engineers and datacenter operations to integrate power systems with AI infrastructure needs.
Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades on turbines, generators, and control systems.
