Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking an EIT 1 to work with the Power Generation Business Sector on power generation projects and other regional tasks.

The candidate will work remotely or in a hybrid setting and be based from Pittsburgh, PA or Richmond, VA with supervision by a licensed professional engineer. Responsibilities include site grading, SWPPP inspections, geotechnical investigations, and construction support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Passed FE exam and obtained EIT certification.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site grading, erosion and sediment control, stormwater and drainage planning.
• Support utility design, traffic control plans, and geotechnical investigations.
• Prepare construction drawings, cost estimates, and observational field inspections.
• Provide project data collection, lab testing, and engineering deliverables preparation.
• Support during construction and coordination with licensed engineers.
