Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Project Engineer, Power Generation, in Texas to support Starship facility growth and vertical integration infrastructure. The role oversees full lifecycle projects, coordinating field and office teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to enable rapid vehicle builds and refurbishment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering/architecture/construction management and 2+ years of construction experience, with a preference for 5+ years and a PE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, architecture or construction management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or required.
• Extensive experience in construction project management and field/office coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage full lifecycle of construction projects with on-time, under-budget delivery.
• Coordinate multi-discipline construction activities in field and office.
• Serve as the overall construction project manager and owner.
• Perform project controls including scheduling and cost control.
• Interact with contractors, fabricators, and internal customers.
• Resolve field-level design and construction conflicts in real time.
• Provide budgetary cost estimates based on project scope.
• Facilitate approvals from city, county, and government entities.
• Coordinate with end users and facilities teams for operations and maintenance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline, architecture, or construction management

Professional Engineer (PE) License
