Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Shipping Associate to support order fulfillment in our Kansas City warehouse. The role involves picking and packing customer orders using powered equipment and RF devices, with accuracy ensured via the High Jump system.

The position offers a Monday–Thursday night schedule (6:30pm–5:00am) and compensation at $19.00 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and staff discounts, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Familiar with RF device scanning and order picking.
• Ability to pack items using standard packing materials.
• Comfort operating powered equipment in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Locates and pulls items from multileveled racks based on RF directions.
• Packs and secures items with provided packing materials.
• Uses High Jump to ensure order accuracy.
• Picks products from correct locations using powered equipment.
• Loads packages with RF device and loads outbound parcels.
• Processes and prints customer orders for warehouse fulfillment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

The Shipping Associate is responsible for picking and packing customer orders with power equipment.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:30pm - 5:00am

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Locates and pulls items stored on multileveled racks in the warehouse, based on a RF device direction.
• Packs and secures items using the provided packing materials.
• Utilizes High Jump computer system to ensure accuracy of all orders.
• Picks product from the proper locations by powered equipment
• Loads packages with an RF device
• Loads outbound parcel truck
• Processes and prints customer orders to the warehouse
• Additional duties as assigned.
