We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Electronics Engineer to lead our power electronics design and development initiatives.

Position Overview:

As a Power Electronics Engineer at Infinitum, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of power electronics systems. This role demands a deep understanding of power conversion technologies, a track record of successful product development, and the ability to work with a team of engineers to deliver high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Power Electronics Design: Design and develop advanced power electronics systems, including converters, inverters, and power supplies, from concept to production. Emphasis on Variable Frequency Drive development and Active Front Ends.
  • System Optimization: Optimize power electronics systems for efficiency, reliability, and performance. Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to validate designs.
  • New Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in power electronics. Evaluate and integrate new technologies that enhance product performance.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the prototyping and testing of power electronics systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other system components.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that power electronics designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Work closely with certification engineering team for certifications as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to integrate power electronics solutions into overall product architectures.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Ensure that documentation meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
