Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-current and high-voltage component testing to verify reqs.
  • Plan tests, document procedures, set up fixtures, execute testing, analyze data, report findings.

  • Apply quality tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP) to support development and readiness.

You will help advance component design and readiness by contributing to supplier selection, technical evaluation, testing, validation, and issue resolution. This role offers hands-on technical experience, opportunities to deepen analytical capability, and regular collaboration with cross-functional teams developing next-generation electrified powertrain solutions.**What You Will Do:*** Perform high-current and high-voltage component testing to verify electrical, mechanical, and thermal requirements.* Plan tests, document procedures, set up fixtures, execute testing, process and analyze data, summarize results, report findings, and support failure analysis.* Review engineering drawings, technical requirements, and specifications.* Apply quality tools and processes, including FMEA, APQP, and PPAP, to support component development and production readiness.* Collaborate with system teams, SMEs, NPI/NTI leads, and validation teams.* Support supplier development through technical evaluations, collaboration, relationship management, and issue resolution.**What You Will Have:*** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field* **Analytical Thinking:** Working knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.* **Effective Communications:** Working knowledge and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.* **Managing Multiple Priorities:** Working knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.* **Technical Excellence:** Working knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.* **Product Design and Development:** Working knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.**What Will Set You Apart:*** Hands-on component development and testing experience for high-power, high-reliability electric-drive applications.* Solid theoretical background in traction inverters, power devices and modules.* Coordinate the development, review, and execution of test plans, including fixtures, instrumentation, resources, schedules, measurement equipment, data analysis, technical reporting, design reviews, and failure analysis.* Experience using dataloggers, oscilloscopes, high-voltage differential probes, current transducers, thermal chambers, high-voltage power supplies, and high-current power supplies.* Experience with Excel, Pythons, MATLAB for test data analysis* Experience working across engineering and business functions, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, thermal simulation, quality, manufacturing, and purchasing.* Experience in Double Pulse testing of power modules* Self-starter who can assess task or program status, define action items, identify issues, and initiate follow-up actions.* Experience working with customers, suppliers, and global teams across regions such as India, China, and Europe.* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and facilitate discussions, drive conclusions, and navigate a matrix organization.**Additional Information:*** This position is in Mossville, IL and requires 5-day a week on-site availability* This position offers domestic relocation* This position does not offer visa sponsorship* 20% or less travel is expected### ### **Summary Pay Range:**$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
