ChargePoint is seeking a Power Electronics Controls Engineer Intern to support modeling and simulation of sophisticated power electronics control systems. The role emphasizes edge-case scenario analysis before hardware validation and building robust HIL systems using Typhoon HIL.

You will collaborate with firmware, hardware, systems, and regulatory teams to ensure integrated control solutions that meet rigorous standards and performance goals at ChargePoint in Campbell, CA.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) preferred.
• 2+ years of proven experience developing Power Electronics products.
• Experience with renewable energy integration using grid-tie inverter systems (solar, BESS, EVSE).
• 2+ years of Python programming experience for scripting and automation.
• Strong experience in designing controllers (e.g., PI, PR, droop) and modelling with MATLAB/PLECS.
• Experience in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and real-time simulation.
