ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
Sigma Technologies has multiple Designer positions available that REQUIRE Power Make Ready Design Experience. These roles involve providing make-ready/joint-use and general distribution design services to power utility companies. We seek knowledgeable, already-skilled staff to join our program teams.
Note: This position can work remotely, but new hires will be required to attend an initial 2-week in-person paid training at our headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: HS Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s degree or higher is preferred but not mandatory. Management may consider other educational combinations.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in power utility distribution make-ready engineering design is required. 2+ years of Make-Ready Engineering/Joint-Use design experience is preferred. Management may consider alternative combinations of education and experience.
PERSONAL: Valid driver’s license and insurance, willingness to undergo background and drug testing, and authorized to work in the U.S.
Willingness to travel overnight if needed (minimal travel required).
Experience with CAD, MicroStation, or related design programs is required.
Knowledge of power distribution system construction, planning procedures, and ability to learn proprietary software.
