Job summary

A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a Distribution Designer to join their Power Distribution Engineering team. This role involves detailed design tasks for electrical distribution systems and requires strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities. Ideal candidates will have an Associate degree in engineering and some field experience, while comprehensive training will be provided to support career development.

Qualifications

• Entry level with Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years Electric Utility or telecommunications field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design of overhead and underground electric distribution systems.
• Prepare specifications, drawings, and design estimates.
• Conduct field data collection using electronic devices.
