Job summary

Primoris Power Delivery in Denton, TX is seeking field professionals for overhead and underground transmission/substation work. Positions include Foreman, Journeyman, Apprentice, Groundman and Operator. Competitive weekly pay and paid on-the-job training are offered.

Requirements include lineman certification, a valid driver’s license with clean history, and ability to pass exams and safety tests. CDL Class A is highly preferred; travel may be required. Benefits and safety programs included.

Qualifications

• Lineman certification or completion of lineman school required.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving history; Class A CDL highly preferred with endorsements.
• Able to pass oral/written exam and proficiency demonstration to determine position level.
• Able to provide own tools and gear; Rubber Goods supplied by company.
• Able to work outside in extreme weather and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willing to travel on short-term basis and perform safe high-voltage tasks.
• Participation in federally compliant drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment and random).

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in transmission/substation tasks on overhead and underground systems.
• Demonstrate climbing techniques and inspect transmission structures and hardware.
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and facilities.
