Job summary

SarelaTech is seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Engineer SME to design, develop, and maintain dashboards using Power BI and MicroStrategy for Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on transforming complex datasets into clear insights to support IT Operations sustainment and critical mission requirements within DoW networks.

The ideal candidate has extensive BI experience, hands-on SQL, ETL, and strong communication skills to collaborate with IT leaders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS with 12–15 years of experience or an MS with 10–13 years of experience (or equivalent).
• Active Secret clearance at time of hire with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• US citizenship is required.
• Proven track record in data analysis, BI, and building enterprise data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard design, development, and deployment using Power BI and MicroStrategy.
• IT operations support and data analysis to sustain system missions.
• ETL processes to integrate structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with leaders to gather requirements and translate them into visualization specs.
• Analyze datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights for strategic decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy, troubleshoot reporting issues, and optimize performance.
• Provide user enablement through documentation and training.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and data dictionaries.
• Ensure tools comply with DoW STIGs and security protocols.
