Job summary

ScanSource is seeking a BI Specialist to become a subject-matter expert supporting internal data systems and driving data-driven process improvements. You will work with senior management, software developers, IT, sales, and marketing to deliver industry-leading data visualization solutions to our global customer base.

You will gather requirements, troubleshoot Power BI reports, and implement best practices while partnering with stakeholders on long-term analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, computer science or related discipline required.
• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query and SQL understanding.
• Knowledge of Power BI role level security, premium capacity, embedded capacity, paginated reports, data modeling, incremental refresh and gateway maintenance.
• Proficiency in data integration and ETL tools; ability to transform and cleanse data for analysis.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and deliver data-driven solutions.

• Develop leading visualization solutions, dashboards and data models.
• Solve problems for large corporate clients across sectors.
• Collaborate with business users and IT to gather requirements and deliver BI projects.
• Implement best practices when building and maintaining reports.
• Assist in managing SAP BI reporting requests.
• Partner with stakeholders on long-term dashboard initiatives and evolving priorities.
