Job summary

KIPP Texas is currently seeking a smart, motivated and experienced data analyst to bring strong problem-solving and analytical skills to a leading charter organization. The Data Analyst is critical to data-driven decisions across reporting, operations, and talent management, with a hybrid schedule: three days in the SSP Houston office and two days remote.

You'll design and maintain Power BI dashboards, support Tableau-to-Power BI migration, and collaborate with regional leadership to meet

Qualifications

• 2–4 years analytics experience in mission-driven environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and data modeling (star schema).
• Strong SQL for complex querying and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Azure data ecosystem and ETL/ELT processes.
• Excel mastery and strong communication with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Python or R for statistics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI data models and dashboards.
• Migrate Tableau assets to Power BI and verify data sources.
• Collaborate with school leadership to align dashboards with needs.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and performance tuning.
• Implement security in Power BI Service (RLS and access).
• Produce ad hoc analyses and leadership reports.
• Support cross-region analytics projects and documentation.
