Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Power BI–focused data professional to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports. You will translate stakeholder needs into analytics products and optimize data models with DAX, M, and semantic modeling.

Strong collaboration with program leaders and data stewards is expected to define KPIs and standards. The role supports public health and government analytics initiatives, applying AI/ML enhancements to improve data workflows, discovery, and decision

Qualifications

• US citizen or permanent resident with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Three or more years in BI, analytics, reporting, data viz, public health informatics, healthcare analytics, or related field.
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling and reporting best practices.
• Experience performing data analysis using SQL and/or statistical tools.
• Experience with structured and semi-structured datasets from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutions.
• Gather and translate requirements into analytics and reporting products.
• Develop and optimize Power BI data models and DAX measures.
• Design and implement data transformation workflows with Power Query (M) and ETL/ELT processes.
• Conduct statistical and trend analyses to support program evaluation and decision making.
• Perform geospatial analysis and geographic visualization using Power BI mapping capabilities and GIS tools.
• Analyze, profile, validate, and monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, reporting standards, and analytical approaches.
• Support public health, healthcare, government, or mission-focused analytics initiatives.
• Leverage AI/ML capabilities to enhance analytics workflows and insights.
• Develop technical documentation, data dictionaries, dashboard user guides, and reporting methodologies.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
