Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Power BI Developer to support a wide-ranging technical initiative for a large Federal agency in Chicago. The role involves building analytics models, dashboards, and self-service analytics using Power BI, with a focus on secure, compliant data solutions.

You will collaborate with data engineers and business analysts, leveraging Azure services and data integration tools to meet rigorous government requirements and timeline constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-4 years of development experience in Data Analytic technologies.
• Strong experience with SQL and RDBMS.
• Experience with Agile project deliveries and web API.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build Data Analytics enterprise models using Power BI.
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards.
• Develop self-service analytics models and reports in Power BI service.
• Publish, schedule, and maintain reports to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to refine data requirements and improve models.
• Work with government personnel at CTO/SES level when needed.
