Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a skilled Automation & Data Integration Specialist to design and implement automated workflows across Smartsheet, Power BI, and JIRA. You will build scalable, user-friendly solutions for non-technical users and create custom views and reports that meet business needs.

The role requires scripting and API integration experience, plus strong documentation skills. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and provide training and enduring support.

Qualifications

• Smartsheet advanced automation, reporting, permissions, forms.
• Power BI data modeling, DAX, Power Query, visualization.
• JIRA admin: custom workflows, automation, dashboards, reporting.
• Confluence for structured docs and knowledge management.
• Ability to write scripts (Python, JS, VBA, SQL).
• Experience with API integrations: JIRA REST, Smartsheet API, Power BI connectors.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work with team collaboration.
• Excellent documentation and process-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Design automated workflows, dashboards, and reports in Smartsheet, Power BI, and JIRA.
• Ensure scalable, maintainable, user-friendly solutions for non-tech users.

• Develop documentation and knowledge bases in Confluence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into solutions.

• Optimize existing processes to reduce manual effort.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Development & Automation:

• Design and implement automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting structures in Smartsheet, Power BI, and JIRA.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly for non-technical team members.
• Create custom views, reports, and data visualization tools that align with business needs.

Custom Development & System Integration:

• Develop custom scripts and applications (e.g., Python, JavaScript, VBA) to enhance Smartsheet, Power BI, and JIRA functionality.
• Establish API-based integrations between Smartsheet, Power BI, JIRA, Confluence, and other tools to improve automation and data consistency.
• Define and build backend data structures beyond Excel if required (SQL, cloud-based databases).
• Perform data queries, custom filtering, and conditional automation to improve efficiency.

• Confluence Documentation – Creating structured documentation and knowledge management systems.
• Scripting & Automation – Ability to write custom scripts (Python, JavaScript, VBA, SQL, or similar).
• API & Data Integration Experience – Familiarity with JIRA REST API, Smartsheet API, Power BI connectors, and other integration tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team.
