You will gain exposure to power‑industry applications, control systems, and engineering documentation, preparing you for a strong engineering foundation across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Enrollment in a formal Co‑Op program as part of your academic curriculum.
• Ability to return for multiple Co‑Op rotations.
• Interest in the power industry, industrial control systems, electrical design, or control‑software development.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available).

Responsibilities

• Support project engineering and controls engineering activities across electrical, mechanical, chemical, and software‑oriented tasks.
• Assist with control‑system design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to engineering documentation including wiring diagrams, control logic, device specifications, and system layouts.
• Participate in development, testing, and validation of control logic, function blocks, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to solve technical challenges and share learnings.
• Gain exposure to power‑plant automation concepts, electrical system components, and real‑time control software.
• Support preparation of engineering packages, bills of material, and hardware/software testing activities.
• Learn industry standards, engineering workflows, and technical tools used in power‑generation and industrial automation projects.
• Bring fresh ideas and perspectives to engineering and project teams.
• Work with fellow Co‑Ops on multidisciplinary engineering assignments and team initiatives.
