Job summary

Insight Global, on behalf of a Fortune 100 client in Georgetown, KY, seeks an Application Developer to design, build, and maintain dashboards, applications, and automations across manufacturing operations. You will leverage Microsoft Power Platforms, Power BI, and full-stack development to support plant needs.

You will develop dashboards for MIS, build applications for manufacturing users to improve process execution, data collection, traceability, and visibility into plant activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and deploying production-level Power Apps and Power Solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Dataverse, SQL, and SharePoint Lists.
• Frontend and backend development experience (React or Angular with C#/.NET, Node.js, or equivalent).
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating applications.
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and applications for manufacturing operations and MIS management.
• Build applications for manufacturing users to improve process execution, data collection, traceability, and visibility.
• Participate in requirements discussions and plant visits to understand user needs.
• Collaborate with the Senior Business Analyst to assess feasibility, clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and estimate development effort.
• Recommend implementation approaches based on business needs, Power Platform, and custom development.
• Build and enhance Power Apps applications and Power Automate workflows.
• Develop custom web applications, backend services, and APIs using an approved technology stack.
• Support application integration and prepare technical documentation for deployment.
• Leverage platforms like Dataverse, SQL databases, and SharePoint Lists.
