Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Application Developer in Georgetown, KY to design, build, and maintain dashboards, applications, and automations across manufacturing operations. You will leverage Power Platform, Power BI, and full-stack development to support MIS, asset data, and plant performance.

You will collaborate with a Senior Business Analyst, assess feasibility, and recommend implementation approaches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production-level Power Apps and Power Solutions experience.
• Hands-on experience with Dataverse, SQL, and SharePoint Lists.
• Frontend and backend development experience (React or Angular with C#/.NET, Node.js).
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating applications.
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field.
• Power BI data visualization experience.
• Experience with data engineering and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred; automotive is a plus.
• Ability to commit to full-time employment and adapt to plant environments.
• Experience with canvas and model-driven Power Apps.

A Fortune 100 client in the Georgetown, KY area is seeking an Application Developer to design, build, and maintain dashboards, applications, and automations across manufacturing operations for their plant needs. This resource will be leveraging Microsoft Power Platforms, Power BI, and full-stack application development. Other daily responsibilities include:- Develop dashboards and applications for internal MIS management, including areas such as incident and recurring issue tracking, change coordination, project and action tracking, workload visibility, asset information, and operational performance.-Build applications for manufacturing users to improve process execution, data collection, traceability, and visibility into plant activities.- Participate in requirements discussions and plant visits to understand user needs, workflows, and operating conditions.- Collaborate with the Senior Business Analyst to assess feasibility, clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and estimate development effort.- Recommend appropriate implementation approaches, considering existing solutions, Power Platform, and custom development based on business needs, complexity, licensing, and supportability.- Build and enhance Power Apps applications and Power Automate workflows.- Develop custom web applications, backend services, and APIs using an approved technology stack.- Support application integration and prepare technical documentation for deployment- Leverage platforms like Dataverse, SQL databases, and SharePoint Lists

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in building and deploying production-level Power Apps and Power Solutions
• Hands on experience with Dataverse, SQL, and SharePoint Lists
• Experience with frontend and backend development experience (React or Angular with C#/.NET, Node.js, or equivalent)
• Experience developing and developing REST API's and integrating applications
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, or something adjacent
• Power BI data visualization experience
• Experience with data engineering (CI/CD pipelines)
• Manufacturing industry experience (automotive preferred)
• Ability to go on full-time
• Experience with canvas and model-driven applications
