Job summary

Hentzen Coatings in Milwaukee is seeking a Powder Production Technician for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will sample, test, adjust, and produce powder coatings, disassemble/reassemble equipment, and support the Quality Control team.

Responsibilities include operating production equipment, setting up machines, following batch tickets, weighing ingredients, documenting batch records, maintaining a clean area, and complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; additional related technical training is a plus.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred (approximately 3-12 months).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and adjust output as needed.
• Set up machines according to setpoints and specifications.
• Follow batch tickets to ensure quality and customer standards.
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients and stage materials for batches.
• Assemble ingredients and prepare batches per specifications.
• Document batch records promptly and accurately.
• Notify supervisor at key cleaning/inspection stages.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety policies.
