Job summary

Pj-Trailers is seeking a Painter 2 for our Sumner, IA facility. The role involves sandblasting, priming, or powder coating trailers in a production setting with an electrostatic sprayer or other hand sprayer.

You will follow safety rules, work on a team, and complete tasks as assigned by the paint lead. Candidates should have experience painting in production environments, be 18+, and able to stand for long shifts, wear a respirator, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of painting in a production environment.
• Experience with electrostatic air sprayer or other hand sprayer.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and work in a respirator.
• Must be 18 years old and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sandblasting, priming or powder coating trailers as assigned.
• Operate painting equipment and ensure quality standards.
• Follow safety rules and maintain equipment/booths.
• Work as part of a team and take direction from paint lead.
