Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC in Selma, Alabama is seeking an experienced Painter to support powder coating of Bush Hog products. Responsibilities include hanging/ fastening parts, inspecting welds, retrieving parts, and ensuring correct entry/exit of items on the conveyor system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand ~8 hours daily and lift 50 lb alone / 100 lb with assistance.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Capable of using hand and power tools with dexterity.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Hang and fasten parts into the painting conveyor system.
• Inspect parts for missing welds, weld splatter and weld quality before painting.
• Retrieve parts needed for powder painting.
• Ensure correct products and quantities enter and exit the conveyor system.
• Meet painting needs for all assembly departments.
• Ensure quality control before and after painting.
• Transport heavy materials using dollies, pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor.
