Responsibilities

• Operation of the powder coat application system.
• Maintaining parameters of control to achieve proper paint application.
• Setting/storing and maintaining operation recipes in the automated system.
• Controlling paint usage and film build on parts.
• Maintaining paint inventory in a FIFO mode.
• Maintaining a system to avoid cross-contamination of paint colors.
• Responsible for determining when to change and clean system components.
• Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
