Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Powder Coat Technician II to prepare substrates for powder coating, including hanging, washing, plugging, scrubbing, taping, and sanding parts. Located onsite in Wisconsin, the role emphasizes safety compliance, continuous training, and quality documentation.

The position offers full-time hours with a Monday-Thursday schedule (6:00am-4:30pm) and a comprehensive benefits package including health, life and disability insurance, PTO, a 401(k) with

Qualifications

• Associate/Technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in related setting may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety regulations.
• Train on an ongoing basis for the powder application process.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer.
• Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results).
• Uphold site efficiency standards.
• Understand color changeovers and powder application process.
• Develop advanced technical knowledge of the wash process and chemical usage.
• Work completely independently without supervision.
• Meet or exceed company PPM level standards by consistently producing quality work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the assigned work center.
