Job summary

Essential duties include preparing parts, following work orders, operating spray equipment, and maintaining paperwork. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior coating experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous powder coating or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, travelers, and job instructions.
• Ability to learn coating equipment, cure times, temperatures, and coating requirements.
• Attention to coating quality and ability to make basic equipment adjustments.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, masking, or plugging as needed.
• Check parts for cleanliness and readiness prior to coating.
• Set up and operate powder coat spray equipment.
• Apply powder coat evenly and ensure all required areas are covered.
• Hang, rack, load, and unload parts safely.
• Operate curing oven and monitor temperature and cure time.
• Complete production paperwork and report labor, parts, and scrap.
