Job summary

Woods Equipment, part of the Oregon Tool, Inc. family, is hiring a Painter II to apply powder coatings on frames and parts using Wagner electrostatic spray guns on a moving conveyor. Under supervision, you will help ensure quality and production efficiency.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and about one year of related experience, plus the ability to wear a supplied air hood and work safely. We support benefits from day one, 401k matching, and vacation time.

  • Ability to work while wearing a supplied air hood, communicate clearly, and complete tasks with professionalism and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Apply high‑quality powder coat finishes using a Wagner Electrostatic spray gun, ensuring proper mil thickness, coverage, and gloss.
  • Maintain strong transfer efficiency while keeping pace with a moving conveyor line and executing all pre‑ and post‑surface prep.
  • Read and match color tags accurately while following established powder coat and/or liquid paint application processes.
  • Support a clean, safe work environment and perform additional tasks as needed to keep production flowing.
