Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with Forgent Power Solutions in Dayton, MN to recruit a Powder Coat Painter for Champlin and Dayton facilities. You will load parts on fixtures, prep for coating, operate coating equipment, and bake finished parts per customer orders.

Shifts available: 1st 5:00am–3:30pm or 2nd 3:45pm–2:15am. Pay ranges: $25.00–$27.50 per hour, based on experience, with weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of related experience or equivalent education
• Previous powder coating experience preferred
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand detailed design prints
• PFT and FIT evaluation required
• Ability to occasionally wear a respirator required
• Pre-employment background check required
• Pre-employment drug screen required

Responsibilities

• Load parts onto fixtures
• Prep parts for coating
• Operate coating equipment (paint guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems)
• Review machine gauges and equipment operations
• Adjust paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality
• Adjust temperatures and time limits to bake painted parts appropriately
• Review painted parts for quality and ensure customer specifications are met

Job Summary

As a Powder Coat Painter, you'll be operating a variety of coating equipment including paint guns, hoppers, and booth systems per customer orders. This is a collaborative role where you'll be working alongside others to load products onto fixtures, prep products for coating, and bake parts once the coating has been applied. Powder Coat Painters must undergo a PFT and FIT evaluation, and respirators will be required to be worn occasionally.

Schedule Options

• 1st Shift: Monday to Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday 3:45pm-2:15am

Pay

• $25.00-$27.50/hour, based on experience
• Weekly paychecks every Friday

Location and Work Environment

• Openings at both Champlin, MN and Dayton, MN facilities
• Clean working environment
• Option to wear one earbud on the production floor
