Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a chemistry-oriented technician to perform powder and liquid sample analyses to determine key physical properties, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

You will use techniques such as optical microscopy, laser diffraction particle size analysis, and related methods, collaborating with a team to plan, execute, and document experiments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field or equivalent directly-related experience.
• At least one year experience in particle and powder characterization.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in learning new techniques, developing and carrying out experimental plans, and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in data handling and scientific/engineering computations.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze powder samples for key physical properties (such as particle size distribution, bulk density, true density, powder flow, particle shape).
• Analyze liquid samples for key physical properties (such as viscosity and surface tension).
• Use techniques such as optical microscopy, laser diffraction particle size analysis, electron microscopy, shear cell testing, and related methods.
