Job summary

Janco Industries in Sully, Iowa is hiring a Powder Coating Team Member to join our manufacturing team.

No powder coating experience is required; we will train the right person who shows up, works hard and pays attention to quality. Previous related work helps, but is not required.

Work Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with Friday overtime as needed and Friday-Sunday off; starting pay is $20.00 per hour, rising to $22.00 per hour while performing powder coating, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• No powder coating experience required; training provided.
• Experience in manufacturing or related work is helpful but not required.
• Must be dependable and able to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Learn to apply powder coating to a variety of manufactured parts.
• Prepare and hang parts for the powder coating process.
• Inspect finished parts for quality.
• Assist with color changes and powder line operations.
• Keep your work area clean, organized and safe.
• Work alongside the rest of our production team to keep quality parts moving.

Janco Industries is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our team as a Powder Coating Team Member.

No powder coating experience? Don't automatically count yourself out.

Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who shows up, works hard, pays attention to quality and wants to learn a valuable manufacturing skill.

What you'll do

• Learn to apply powder coating to a variety of manufactured parts
• Prepare and hang parts for the powder coating process
• Inspect finished parts for quality
• Assist with color changes and powder line operations
• Keep your work area clean, organized and safe
• Work alongside the rest of our production team to keep quality parts moving

Your schedule

Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Friday, Saturday and Sunday off every week, with Friday overtime only when needed. No regular weekends.

Your pay

$20.00/hour starting wage

+$2.00/hour while performing powder-coating duties

That means $22.00/hour while powder coating.
