Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a senior poultry operations leader to oversee live production across Feed, Hatchery, and Grow‑Out operations. You will drive performance metrics, ensure animal welfare, and align strategies with business objectives.

You will manage multiple teams and contract growers, optimize production quality and costs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with welfare and biosecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years poultry operations experience.
• Experience supporting Feed, Hatchery, and Grow‑Out Operations.
• Experience leading multiple teams, locations, and contract grower operations.
• Strong knowledge of poultry production systems, animal health, nutrition, and welfare programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all live production operations, including Feed, Hatchery, and Grow‑Out functions.
• Drive production, quality, animal welfare, and financial performance goals.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that support business objectives.
• Establish performance standards and accountability across production teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Partner with Feed Mill and Hatchery teams to optimize feed quality, chick quality, and production results.
• Oversee flock health, biosecurity, animal welfare, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Manage live supply planning, farm operations, and grower relationships.
• Lead, coach, and develop production personnel and contract growers.
• Manage departmental budgets, expenses, and capital improvement projects.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for productivity and cost savings.
• Promote workplace safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
• Support audits, inspections, and continuous compliance with company standards.
• Build and retain high-performing teams through employee development and succession planning.
