Tyson Foods - Cobb Family is hiring for a poultry farm position in the United States. The role operates on a rotating schedule—4 days on, 4 days off, with hours 6:10 am to 4:10 pm, and potential changes based on production.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour plus shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Eligible benefits include health, dental, vision, disability coverage, 401K/stock options, paid vacations and holidays, education programs starting on day one, and various support

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no job gaps >6 months in past 36 months.
• If laid off or providing child/elder care, employment gap increases to 18 months.
• Previous work history may not apply to full-time students in last 36 months.
• Rehire requires a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire rule: no more than 3 times at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsibilities

• Feeds, waters and weighs birds according to standards. (10%)
• Cleans and disinfects waterers, changes nest pads, dusts houses, maintains feed room and cleanliness. (10%)
• Records information such as egg numbers, bird weights, medications, feed and water intake, and mortality. (10%)
• Collects eggs from floor level trap nests, releases hens from nests, records eggs laid by each hen. (50%)
• Monitors for floor and nest eggs and trains hens to use nest to eliminate them. (10%)
• Other duties and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. (10%)
