Job summary

AVS Bio is seeking a Poultry House Operator in Roanoke, IL. This entry-level position supports the daily care of laying hens, with training provided.

You will monitor feed, water, equipment, and house conditions; collect and sanitize eggs; maintain sanitation and biosecurity standards; and observe flock health in a humane farm setting. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver_s license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication skills, dependable and flexible.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a farm environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with Farm Management.
• Maintain biosecurity regulations and cleanliness.
• Collect and sanitize eggs for SPF eggs.
• Monitor flock health and report concerns.
• Perform basic maintenance and humane bird care.
• Assist in training new hires and support bird sales.
