The Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Partum specialty in Hamtramck, Michigan. This staff position offers ongoing scheduling with opportunities for growth and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 based on experience.

The RN will provide compassionate patient care, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and support mothers and families through the postpartum period. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing is required.
• Michigan RN licensure is required.
• BSN preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes collaborative relationships with physicians and care teams.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
