Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a postpartum nurse to join our Women’s Unit. This role supports new mothers and newborns, delivers education, performs clinical assessments, and contributes to high‑quality outcomes in a magnet-designated environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree.
• Experience: 1+ years of RN experience; postpartum/mother-baby experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for postpartum/mother‑baby patients on the unit.
• Monitor maternal and newborn status and provide education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care providers for optimal outcomes.
• Support ongoing professional development and adherence to staffing ratios.
• Follow unit policies and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
