Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join the postpartum team at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery.

Under RN supervision, you will provide direct, goal-oriented patient care per the Nursing Care Plan and hospital standards, and administer medications while reporting patient status. Education includes a high school diploma and an active LPN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active LPN license required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized patient care under RN supervision.
• Administer medications and report patient symptoms/conditions to RN.
• Follow Nursing Care Plan and hospital standards of practice.
• Assist Employee Health with new hire and annual health screenings when assigned.
• Perform additional duties within scope as needed.
