Role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing work orders, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment in a mobile shop or on-site setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ hands-on diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to meet physical demands and pass a DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and conduct inspections for safety/compliance.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders; maintain tools and work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; collaborate with supervisors and team members.
• Assist with building Mobile Service Center trucks during non-travel weeks.
• Interact with Fleet Managers and Senior Fleet Managers; travel up to 100% as needed.

$25.00 - $37.00 hr | Weekly Pay

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $28.00 – $37.00/hour (based on experience)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Friday

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations
• Non travel weeks will be spent building Mobile Service Center trucks and completing other projects
• Working closely with Fleet Managers and Senior Fleet Managers.
• Perform other duties as required
• Up to 100% travel time

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ of hands‑on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical if required for the role

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile and or shop environment that may include exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential functions that include lifting heavy objects, accessing tight spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs.
