Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in WA is seeking a Mobile Diesel / Trailer Technician to service fleet vehicles. The role offers $34–$36/hour based on experience with weekly pay and full benefits after 30 days.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs, diagnose issues, and document work orders while working a 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of automotive maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to manage personal tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ hands-on automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to meet physical demands and pass screenings including DOT if required.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role

• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
