Job summary

University of Notre Dame invites applications for the Society Fellows Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. This three-year fellowship supports early-career scientists pursuing research-intensive careers in academia or industry, with a stipend at or above the NRSA NIH postdoctoral pay scale and dedicated mentorship from Notre Dame faculty.

Applicants must identify a primary research mentor from one of the College of Science’s departments and arrange three letters of recommendation via Interfolio.

Qualifications

• Must have completed (or plan to complete) a doctoral degree after June 2025.
• A cover letter including motivation, research interests at Notre Dame, and planned career goals.
• Curriculum vitae (CV) and a research statement identifying primary/co-mentors; research statement not to exceed 5 pages.

Responsibilities

• Engage in research under mentorship within Notre Dame's College of Science.
• Participate in a university-wide program of workshops, seminars, and networking.
• Collaborate with colleagues and mentor graduate students as part of the postdoctoral fellowship.
